Yoggu!

Yoggu! dairy-free yogurt began at home in the kitchen, with the firm belief that their coconut cream had to taste delicious, additive-free, organic and promote fair trade with the farmers they sourced the coconuts.

They source their coconuts from a Fair Trade Certified coconut partner, assuring they are not only delicious but responsible-source – setting them on a path to become an alt-company with a mission to run responsibly, ethically, sustainably.

As they grow, they want to run their company intentionally by setting the bar early, particularly with how they source their ingredients. They wish to make a lasting impact on the everyday foodscape and believe the first step in this is their supplier relationships and how they navigate them moving forward.

From sourcing to manufacturing, there is a whole lot of love that goes into every cup of Yoggu! They are flavour-obsessed and see coconut cream as the perfect canvas for creating their cultured coconut yogurt.

Every cup of Yoggu! is produced in-house by their team, who hold a shared passion for holding up the highest quality standards, all the way from how they source our ingredients to the final taste test.

Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?

Answer: We love supporting our local suppliers, especially packaging and labelling. We are also in the process of building a new factory, and we have relied on many local businesses and trades to propel this project forwards.

Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?

Answer: We provide a living wage, employee benefits, and personal/professional training for our employees. We also offer our products to charitable causes like __. Since we manufacture all products in-house, we have full control of our sustainability practices – reducing water, garbage, compost and recycling disposal. We also make a plant-based product with many environmental impacts (reduces greenhouse gas emissions, reduces water, etc).
