Pyramid Office Supplies began as Pyramid Printers back in 1978, a home-based printing business started by Sheila and Don Reeves. In 1987 they moved into the retail space in the Century House building. The Business quickly grew and needed a new home, moving to the City Centre Mall in 1989. Sheila and Don retired and sold the business to their daughter Heather Masch in 1999, who changed the name to Pyramid Office Supplies. Heather noticed that the business would need more space and moved it to Mountainview Square at the same time. Heather was born and raised in Kitimat and lives happily with her husband Mike and fur baby Monty. Her daughter Kadee works in the family business as well. Heather enjoys spending her time with her granddaughter, family, traveling, camping and playing golf. After 40 years of working in the printing business, Heather is hanging up her hat and looking forward to retirement. The new owners, brother and sister duo Sam and Kasey Anderson look forward to carrying on the business and keeping it local, just like Heather and her family.

Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?

Answer: Pyramid supports as many local businesses as we can. We try to source our materials from local or Canadian companies. We refer our clients to other businesses in town if we are unable to fulfill their requests. We offer competitive pricing for all businesses in Kitimat as well as employ many Kitimat residents over the years, offering the skills to work in retail.

Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?

Answer: We are proud of the charities that we work with on a regular basis, including the Kitimat Public Library, Kitimat Concert Association, Kitimat Firefighters, Northern Health Hospital Foundation, Kitimat Chamber of Commerce, Kitimat Bullorama, Kitimat Search & Rescue and many local youth sports teams or organizations.
