Dead Frog Brewery is an award-winning craft brewery, born and raised in the Fraser Valley, and located in Langley, B.C. As a family-run business, we’ve been brewing great craft beer for over 14 years. We believe in creativity, innovation, using the best ingredients, and of course, having a great time doing it!
We focus on infusing creativity and innovation into everything we do from our Juice Box Sour Mixer to our Nutty Uncle Peanut Butter Stout. We’ve got a beautiful Tasting Room with over 20+ craft brews on tap, all brewed a brisk 55 feet from our taps, and a kitchen with fresh eats made in-house from locally sourced ingredients. Our brewing team sources only premium malts and hops, with no artificial anything, ever. Our brews are full of flavour, we even use our own brews in our food items for unique flavour profiles like our Commander Imperial Stout Beef Dip, or our Moscow Mule Lime Ginger Ale Wings.
Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?
Answer: Giving back is an important part of what we do – here’s a few of the causes that we believe in and are lucky enough to help out:
- We have a special tap in our Tasting Room in collaboration with the Township of Langley Firefighters Charities that alternate beers monthly to raise money for charities in need.
- We have had the opportunity to collaborate with Spent Grounds Coffee Roasters in South Surrey to create our Coffee Shop Mixer Box which includes four coffee-infused craft beers.
- Our kitchen crafts fresh eats are made in-house using locally sourced ingredients.
- In our Fresh Hop IPA we use local hops from Topps Hops in Abbotsford.
- On our Blueberry Crumble Bake Shop Ale launch day, we sold Blueberry Pies for the day from Krause Berry Farms in Langley.
Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?
Answer: We believe quality ingredients make quality craft brews, and we spend a lot of time making sure we choose the perfect ingredients for each of our brews. After we use all of the goodness from the grains they are removed and given to local farmers to use for animal feed.
We are proud to support different charities every month on an ongoing basis through our 16 oz craft beer sales on the Firefighter Tap in collaboration with the Township of Langley Firefighters Charities.
Over the holidays, we have a Give a Toy –> Get a Free 12 oz brew toy drive program in our Tasting Room to donate toys to children and families in need through the Langley Christmas Bureau.
