BC Palette Art Studio located in New Westminster, is a women-owned family business that first opened
in The City of Lougheed Shopping Center in November 2022. In May 2024, they moved to downtown New Westminster, the city they always hoped to establish their business in from the start. Their studio primarily focuses on pottery painting, fostering mental well-being and bringing the community closer together.
They offer drop-in pottery painting, pottery workshops, and painting
workshops for all ages. Whether you’re a kid or a senior, there’s an art
activity for you. They also host birthday parties, team-building
events, and various gatherings, offering options like pottery painting,
canvas painting, and private wheel-throwing workshops. BC Palette Art is a
haven for art lovers of all kinds.
Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?
Answer: Since we are new to New Westminster, we have primarily worked with
Instant Imprints for our business needs as an art studio. On a personal
level, our family actively supports and uses local businesses daily,
such as Shawarma Corner, Maestro Hair & Tattoo, Vita Felice Medi Spa,
Ballerina Beauty, Charm & Champagne Beauty Studio, The Notorious Grey
Fox Taps & Patio, Columbia Street Sandwich Company, Delicia Cafe &
Bakery, and Hyack Sushi.
Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?
Answer: At BC Palette Art Studio, we are committed to supporting our local
community and minimizing our environmental impact. Socially, we actively
build connections with nearby businesses. We encourage our customers to
support local businesses, and our family supports local businesses.
Environmentally, we strive to use eco-friendly materials in our studio.
We aim to reduce waste by recylcing our waste. Our goal is to foster a
creative environment that is both community-oriented and environmentally
conscious.
