The West Coast is now his forever home and truly enjoys taking SCA guests visiting from all parts of the world to see some of BC’s most spectacular places. How are you supporting local business?
Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?
Answer: Sunshine Coast Air has partnered with many wonderful local companies to create experiences for visitors and locals and is always looking for more ways to collaborate. Sunshine Coast Air in partnership with Sunshine Coast Art Tours, created ‘FLIGHTS to FLIGHTS’. This combination Ale and Air Tour introduces you to the Coast’s finest breweries, cideries and distilleries on the Sunshine Coast starting it off with a majestic flight of Sechelt Inlet. Josh has been also collaborating with Paige Lorraine Photography and Coastal Weddings & Events creating the most breathtaking elopement packages to some of the most remote locations on the West Coast. ‘We are extremely excited to be launching our Indigenous Audio Tour experience in partnership with Aboriginal & Eco-Tours (formerly Talaysay Tours) offering storytelling, drumming and song as you soar along the waters edge and mountaintops of the Sechelt Inlet and Strait of Georgia.
Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?
Answer: We understand the importance of preserving our habitat and that is why Sunshine Coast Air partnered with Whales.org for the adopt-an-orca program. The Sunshine Coast is home to Southern Resident Killer Whales who are at risk from environmental and human impacts. We wanted to help. Proceeds of our services goes toward the adoption of resident orcas. We also provide whale sighting information to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans to help protect the whale populations.
