Flavor Balance is located in the heart of New Westminster.

This family-run business has quickly become a much-loved part of the community, with many saying they have “the best coffee in town”.

Their coffee is purchased from local manufacturer Milano Coffee, thoughtfully chosen for their great tasting coffee and support for non-profit initiatives around the Vancouver region.

Not only that but their pastries, desserts, and food items are to die for! To name a few – Rebel vegan gluten-free cookies, 3 delicious kinds of cheesecake, fresh-baked scones, melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon buns, and customer favourite, their Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse Cake. 

Having opened their doors in June 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, they have had to overcome many added obstacles as a new business, one being their ineligibility for several government financial assistance grants, a vital source of funding many businesses relied on during a time of such economic uncertainty. Despite this, they feel extremely grateful for the support their community has shown them. One example of this has been with the Royal City Gogos fundraiser, featuring a raffle with dollars raised going to local businesses.
