
Tality Kombucha aims to sustainably brew the highest quality and most authentic kombucha possible, straight from our North Shore production facility to your door.
They are all about crafting the perfect bottle of ‘booch, using only organic, whole, and real ingredients – black tea, cane sugar, and infused flavours. They believe that using a whole ginger root, blackberry, or sage leaf adds complexity to the flavour profile that can’t be replicated with juices, concentrates or anything but the real thing.
At Tality, we use top-of-the-line equipment to ensure a controlled ferment. The result is a simple and wholesome, low sugar, good-for-you, probiotic refreshment available on-tap or in bottles.
Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?
Answer: We’re all about adding value and working together with our local community. We purchase our ingredients from local farms and suppliers and sell our products to local retailers. We’ve done custom flavours for local cafes and breweries. We have come out with co-branded flavours, served kombucha cocktails at local events, and hire local artists to do our designs.
Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?
Answer: We regularly take part in events that support the environment or community with local partners. We are a 1% for the Planet Member, Canada’s first B-Corp kombucha company, and certified organic. We use stone paper labels, have a bottle wash and reuse program, septic-friendly cleaners and sanitizers, and are currently piloting a vermicompost waste management system for our brewery. We give back to the community by donating to local events run by organizations like WIRTH and Patagonia.
