Founded by Charmaine Ng, an entrepreneur, mother, and Food Scientist, Charmaine is dedicated to a real solution for healthy snacking, leaving customers with guilt-free indulgences. Love Me Some™ vegan seed crackers are made with no added sugars or preservatives and are naturally gluten, trans fat, cholesterol, and nut-free. The main functions of these deliciously seedy crackers are to increase energy, boost memory, and balance hormones. Seeds are an amazing source of good fats and fibre to keep you fueled without sugar crashes. At just 150 calories a pack, Love Me Some seed crackers are a great healthy snack. They are rich in Magnesium and Zinc, vital nutrients for cognitive function. As well as helps in the balancing of hormones, particularly women’s sex hormones.
Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?
Answer: We look to support as many local businesses as possible from sourcing of ingredients to packaging. We work with Glenmore Packaging and Summit Labels for our packaging needs. We also start by partnering with small, local stores such as Westwood Organics, Harvest Community Foods, Larry’s Market and Pomme’s Natural Market to introduce our products to the community. We also support students from UBC and SFU through various industry sponsorship opportunities.
Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?
Answer: We are a small start-up so we work with various contractors. We are proud to be supporting women-owned start-ups like ours for our marketing needs. We are also proud to be part of the 1% For the Planet community to give back to the environment.
