We can help you design a gift basket or gourmet gift box for just about any occasion, prepare custom party platters for your next event, or host your corporate event. We host cooking classes all month long to inspire your love of food, family and cooking at home. Our store features specials, and new products from local BC producers & merchants are stocked in store all the time. Check out our monthly cooking class calendars, updated regularly & featuring in-store events, author signings and special guests. Register for our cooking classes as an individual, with a friend, or as couples. We sell pre-designed, and custom gift baskets on the website, perfect for that special gourmand in your life.

Well Seasoned’s owner Angie Quaale is a passionate advocate for all things local. Her 2018 book Eating Local in the Fraser Valley (Penguin Random House Canada) celebrates the Fraser Valley’s local food producers, chefs, winemakers, brewers and farmers.

Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?

Answer: We buy fresh meat, produce and seafood for our kitchen from a TONNE of local businesses. In our retail store we sell products made by at least 40 local suppliers, including Gone Crackers, Fraser Valley Almond Butter Crunch, Gillespie Apple Cider Vinegar, Hunter Brown’s Brown Butter Cubes, Karla’s Specialteas Tea Blends, Monsoon Coast Spices, Pompass Ass Hot Sauces, Saltwest Naturals Canadian Sea Salt, Sriracha Revolver Hot Sauces, The Preservatory Artisanal Preserves, Walter Craft Caesar Mix and so many more! We’re always on the hunt for the best local food products.

We also support local service providers. We use B.C.-based companies for 100% of our services – all our banking, accounting, legal and other services. For instance, we bank at Vancity, our accountant is a Langley based Certified General Accountant, and our lawyer is also Langley based.

Question: What social and environmental practices are you proud of?

Answer: We are proud of being able to provide local manufacturers with an outlet to retail their products in our store.

We take our role in the community seriously, especially when it comes to supporting local charities. In just the last year, our team has made very meaningful contributions to Langley Hospice Society, Langley Firefighters Charitable Society and the Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation. In 2019 alone, we donated about 3% of our revenue to local charities.

We make every effort to reduce our environmental impact. We use only recyclable paper bags, never any plastic, and where possible our catering materials are completely biodegradable. We also sell products like Abeego beeswax wrap in our store to help our customers reduce their waste.
