At our vibrant restaurant Momo Factory, we take immense pride in curating a dining experience that is unlike any other.
With two convenient locations in Surrey, Delta and downtown Vancouver, we effortlessly bring together the enchanting flavours of India and China. Indian Chinese cuisine, Chinese Indian cuisine, Sino-Indian cuisine, Chindian cuisine, Hakka Chinese or Desi-Chinese cuisine is a distinct style of Chinese cuisine adapted to Indian tastes, combining Chinese foods with Indian flavours and spices.
Though Asian cuisines have mixed throughout history throughout Asia, the most popular origin story of the fusion food resides with Chinese labourers of Calcutta (now called Kolkata), who immigrated to British Raj India looking for work.
Question: How are you supporting other local businesses?
Answer: We purchased all our raw materials from local vendors like Sun Farm Produce & Grocery, day to day markets, and local vendors of meat.
Question: What social practices are you proud of?
Answer: We hire local staff and provide them with training, and we encourage local youth staff to join our team.
We collaborate with local non-profit organizations like schools and charitable organizations. Previously we collaborated with Hellings Elementary School in Delta.
We always make sure to segregate our waste, and we use sustainable packaging to minimize the harm to the environment.
